This kitchen sink chemistry is inspired by an Instructable that outlines the process of extracting starch from a potato and using it to make a resin.

The scale is small here. Creator Ravi Carlson makes a teddy bear. But it's part of the greater goal to move past petroleum. Our demand for plastic accounts for 4% of the annual U.S. petroleum consumption ¹.
